  • About Kelli

Kelli is a professor at Concordia College and a licensed clinician in Minnesota and North Dakota. She has spent the last 18 years working in clinical mental health, providing treatment, training and consulting to clients of all ages, school districts, childcare centers and non-profits. She attended the University of Western States to complete her coursework in Sports Psychology and she received her Doctorate in Education, Practice and Leadership from the University of North Dakota, focusing on youth sports and mental health for her dissertation. She has spent the last six years working with a variety of athletes including youth, juniors, collegiate and professionals. As a parent of three children engaged in youth sports and a former billet mom of four bonus sons who play professional hockey, Kelli understands the importance of improving mental health and mental skills with all athletes.

“For me, personally, mental preparation has a greater impact on my game than physical preparation. My biggest discovery was that you can also train your mental strength, but you have to be ready, because like any training, it is not easy to do.”
